Anyone have a grand or so they could just kinda, y'know, give me? !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
It may need some work but I've always wanted a little weekend project bike that I could tinker with. Summer's coming up so the bikes like this one aren't going to get any cheaper, either...

Exactly, with a flat tire and taped on head lamp I doubt he'll get a better offer. Looks like a rats nest of wiring under the seat as well.

Yea I don't know exactly what constitutes a basket case for bikes... they're so simple and easy to work on that if the parts are cheap, it seems worth the effort to put in the time.

A weekend with some electrical tape and a wiring diagram would solve that problem, not like it's going to be show bike... Damn, I'm really thing of calling this dude...

Exactly, parts are cheap and they're everywhere. Carbs and wiring seem to be its only faults from a cursory glance, and that's something I could fix myself over a weekend or two. I really do need to sell some stuff...
